We are delighted to be returning to Coopers Field, Cardiff Castle, Cardiff, where it all began for us in 1998, to stage an International match between Wales and Spain and look forward to entertaining you with a match of the highest quality.
Both Teams will be formed of two amateur and two professional players with qualifying lineage to their National teams. The Wales Team will comprise of professional polo playing brothers Andrew and Richard Blake-Thomas with talented amateurs Stuart Leigh Davies and former British Ice Hockey star Ricky Cooper flying in from New York to support his Microsoft Welsh Team.
The Spanish Team will comprise of professional players visiting Ascot Park Polo Club for the English Summer season and will hold Spanish passports. Selection will take place closer to the match day and announced in the programme for the day.
The Event will commence at 12 noon for Hospitality Guests, 1pm for Polo Boxes and 1.30 for Picnic parking.
We will be having a post match party within the Hospitality Pavilion after the match presentation, featuring live music and guest DJ "Rich and Famous".
All guests purchasing the Hospitality Package and Polo Box badges will be allowed admission to the post match party on production of their day badge. A licensed bar will be available to close at 8pm.
